Terms of reference

  1. Implementing the Personnel Affairs Regulations, including:
    1. Preparing the budget for jobs project in coordination with the relevant departments.
    2. Announcement of vacancies.
    3.  Issuing decisions and contracts necessary for hiring, transportation, vacations, granting bonuses and certificates of experience.
    4. Preparing the annual leave program and following up on its implementation after its approval.
    5. Taking the necessary measures to renew work contracts with non-Omani employees after approval by the Board of Directors.
    6. Monitoring the working hours and taking appropriate action in this regard.
    7. Preparing a staff training plan and presenting it to the College Board to action.
    8. Preparing payroll and employee benefits statements.
  2. Agreeing to obtain permits to bring employees from abroad and permits to bring their families.
  3. Coordination with the Ministry of Manpower and Social Security in matters that constitute college personnel.​
  4. Coordination with the Ministry of Labor and the Royal Oman Police to obtain work permits and entry visas for non-Omani employees and college guests.
  5. Preparing the annual plan and annual report for the department.​
  6. Carry out any other related work assigned to the department by the Dean.
