The Department of English language and Literature at Al Zahra College for Women (ZCW) invites applications for full time appointment of academic faculty members at the rank of Associate Professor or Assistant Professor to teach modules on ZCW English Literature and Translation undergraduate program. Prospective candidates should be able to meet the following terms and conditions:
  • PhD degree on English Literature, Linguistics or Translation from a recognized university approved and attested by Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation via email: moheri@gov.om
  • A minumum of 3 years of experience in teaching a broad range of English Literature, Linguistics or Translation courses on a higher education institution
  • A track record of quality research publications (beseeming the rank of Associate Professor/Assisstant Professor)
  • Excellent command of English
  • Experience in using e-learning platforms
  • Experience in supervising final year projects
  • Experience in course and curriculum design and development, including but not limited to teaching and assessment methods
  • Acquaintance with quality assurance, accrediatation and academic policies
