  • Quality Assurance Committee
​Responsibilites: 
  1. Preparing the annual work plan for the department committee.
  2. Spreading the quality assurance culture in the department.
  3. Applying QA standards and achieving their department requirements.
  4. Following up and ensuring commitment to the QA regulations, policies, and procedures.
  5. Preparing term workflow reports and forwarding them to the QA Department.
6. Cooperating with other QA committees in the College departments.
 
  • Scientific Research, Postgraduate Studies, and Fairs Committee
​​Responsibilites:
  1. Preparing the annual work plan for the department committee
  2. Distributing the research forms to staff members at the beginning of every academic year.
  3. Preparing the department scientific research plan.
  4. Estimating the annual research costs.
  5. Identifying the approved scientific periodicals.
  6. Organizing seminars, lectures, and workshops in the department.
  7. Maintaining the documents of the workshop and published research works.
  8. Proposing new postgraduate programs that meet the requirements of the labor market.
  9. Following up and updating the postgraduate program study plans offered in the department.
10. Approving the results of the postgraduate program exams in the department.

11. Nominating supervisors and co-supervisors.

12. Announcing the research topics proposed by the staff members.

13. Preparing a proposal for committee formation and discussion dates.

14. Organizing scientific symposiums for the department students.

15. Informing the postgraduate students about their actual study plans.

16. Holding meetings with the postgraduate students to discuss different issues.
17. Preparing a name list of the students who are expected to graduate in any semester.

18. Organizing special fairs for the joint works of students and staff in the department.

19. Encouraging students’ participation in the department fairs.
20. Ensuring the department is in line with the local and international developments in scientific research, postgraduate studies, and fairs.
21. Reviewing the related policies, regulations, and forms.
  • Study Plans, Curricula, and Examination Committee
​​Responsibilites:                        
  1. Preparing the annual work plan for the department committee.
  2. Preparing the study and advisory plans for the new programs.
  3. Identifying the study plans for the offered programs.
  4. Following up with and updating the department study plans to cope with the fast updates of the specialization, based on the staff recommendations, the advisory committee, employers, which suit the department program(s).
  5. Examining the labor market to suggest program updates and recommend new programs in the light of the labor market requirements.
  6. Distributing the offered courses form to the academic advisors.
  7. Identifying the courses that will be offered in the semester after receiving the form.
  8. Preparing the study timetable and coordinating with the academic advisors to solve any clashes (if any).
  9. Coordinating with the department head to nominate staff members for the offered courses.
10. Preparing the students exam table.
11. Preparing the needed stationery for examination.
12. Preparing the rooms for exams in regard of student numbers.
13. Following up with the exam process and preparing the related reports.
14. Announcing the student exam instructions on the exam room doors
15. Distributing the teacher exam instructions.
16. Receiving exam papers from teachers and giving them back on the exam day.
17. Receiving the exam bundles after the exams.
18. Following up with the process of mark entry
19. Preparing the students' averages and the percentages of the pass and fail students.
20. Suggesting a list of the institutions in which students can have their practical training.
21. Coordinating with the department of career training and guidance regarding the availability of training opportunities.
22. Preparing a list of the training programs that the students need for each specialization to empower them in the labor market.
